ENTRY INTO THE CONTEST DOES NOT GUARANTEE SCREENING.
Copyrighted content in your film will not be allowed without written consent.
100% of your film must be shot during the 25 hours of the competition.
All films must include the selected line of dialogue, object, and theme. Films that do not include those items won’t win… anything.
Submissions are all digital this year. They should be on a data disc or on a travel drive. See Required Materials for further details.
Films will be entered for award consideration and public presentation during the IFCKC One Night Stand Film Festival that night.
There will be awards for the Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Use of Required Elements, and Audience Choice Award. The judges, at their discretion, may award separate honors.
Each paid entrant will be given two free admissions to the screening to distribute at will. Other team members will be charged admission to attend the screening.
Jackass Clause – Films which expose persons or property to undue risk of injury or damage will not be accepted. Any screening will be halted and will automatically be disqualified from judging.
Time limit will be measured from first sound, credit, image or scene to credits end. There is no minimum film length. A time limit will be determined at the kick off of the event, based on the number of team entries.
Films need to be turned in by the announced time (i.e. 25 hours after dismissal) at the screening location. Under extraordinary conditions, the deadline may be extended at the sole discretion of the IFCKC Board.
Late films may still be screened, at the discretion of contest officials, but they will not be eligible for judging. Late films may still be eligible for Audience Choice Award
