IFCKC Presents: Call For Scripts!

We’re in post-production for our first IFCKC Presents film, AN URN FOR CALVIN, and it’s time to start thinking about our next film in our Working Classroom Series.

You’ve had that awesome idea in for a short film in your head for a while, and you’d love to see it made into a short film. The Independent Filmmaker’s Coalition of Kansas City wants to help.

If your script would make an excellent movie, showcasing the best talent (cast and crew) Kansas City has to offer, your story could be our next IFCKC produced short film. If accepted, your script will be used as a great opportunity for those new to filmmaking to gain valuable skills with the help of experienced mentors on the production set!

Subject matter and content is wide open, with only one real requirement: The films produced by the IFCKC are meant to show the best of what our talented members and the wider Kansas City film community can do, and why Kansas City is a great place to make independent film.

Qualifying scripts must be 15 minutes or less, formatted in standard industry script form, and submitted as a PDF to [email protected] This is an ongoing project, so while we are always accepting scripts, the next deadline for scripts to be considered for the 2nd IFCKC Presents film is May 31st, 2016.
