Board Members

Timothy Harvey


Timothy is a Kansas City based writer, director, actor and editor, with something of a passion for Film Noir movies. He joined the Independent Filmmakers Coalition of Kansas City in 2006 and was elected to the its board in 2008, serving as Membership Coordinator and Vice-President. In 2014 he was elected President of the IFCKC.

Timothy’s film work has included directing the music video for IAMEVE’s “Temptress”, Art Direction for the feature film FETCH and the upcoming series PARADOX CITY, and serving as Assistant Director for the Emmy Award winning “Change For a Dollar”.

Kimberly Igla


Kimberly has been working in the film industry since 2011: acting, script supervising, writing, camera work and directing. Whether it’s being in front or behind the camera, she adores it all. Kimberly joined the IFCKC in 2012, served the Board as an intern the next year, and was elected to her present position in 2014. She was elected Vice-President in 2015. She studies film and television production at Johnson County Community College.

Alden Miller

Seminar Coordinator

Alden Miller is a Kansas City transplant who works as an Director and Editor. He operates the production company, Alchemy New Media, helping Kansas City’s businesses stories be told online. He also has an affinity for thriller and suspense films citing Hitchcock and Fincher as his main influences. Alden has served on the IFC board since 2013 as its Education Coordinator.

As a product of Film School, Alden had the opportunity to work on such films as “Ocean’s Eleven”, “Dragonfly”, “A Beautiful Mind”, and “Spider-Man” during his internship at Universal Studios in Hollywoood.

Dan Handley

Community Chair

Dan has had a lifelong fascination with filmmaking. He studied dance and theater from a young age and occasionally dabbled with a camera. After trying his hand at videography and running live video for a church, Dan finally jumped into the film community in 2008 when he joined the Independent Filmmakers’ Coalition of Kansas City. He has been involved in many local films. Although usually an actor, Dan wears many hats on both sides of the camera. He joined the board in 2014.

James Hinkle

Media Chair

In 1995 James began doing graphic design professionally. Even though he specialized in textile printing, James would always dabble in photography. In February of 2011, at the urging of his son Maddact Hinkle, James began producing short videos for the automaddact YouTube channel. What started out as a simple hobby for him and his son quickly spiraled into a full-time job.
In 2013 he formed the Cinemaddact, LLC production company and named it after his son who inspired him to begin producing video. In the short time between 2011 and 2013 James has produced everything from sports highlight reels to television commercials, and from sizzle reels to television pilots.

Stacy Hinkle


Stacy began working as a voiceover actor in 2009 with a focus primarily on commercials, TV promos and short films. In 2015 she expanded into the audiobook market. In addition to voice acting, she has written or provided copy editing services for several scripts and projects. In January of 2016, she directed her first short film. Stacy has an MBA from the University of Central Missouri. She joined the IFCKC Board of Directors in 2015.
